    I’m curious if you saw Rafael Rivera’s comment on this post and if this solution solves the problem. Have you had a chance to try to implement this change?

    Customer sets up time blocks in Appointment Book. Then in the appointment book view the time block can be right clicked and the beginning and end time altered by anyone – there is no program right that you can uncheck to stop someone from being able to move the time block in this manner.
    This needs to be enabled with an assigned DXOne right

    It's the next thing that we are working on. Hopefully we will be able to get to the level of customization that you are looking for. We are hoping to release it in Q1 next year.

    All,

    Per the original request, what version are you running? On the latest version, I was able to immediately start typing when I opened the box instead of clicking on the box. As far as preserving the information already typed into the search box when switching types, we will definitely look at that.

    Which version of Dentrix Enterprise are you on? With 8.0.7, we have created an updated More Information module that many people are using as a kind of dashboard. They keep that module open always and can link to other features such as medical history. You can see this functionality on the 8.07 webinar at:

    It sounds like there was some confusion. Where are you located and I can have our sales team reach out to you?

    Actually, even Dentrix (Core) requires providers to use eClaims in order to take advantage of the 835 import functionality and converts 5010s back to to 4010s in order to process them. We are currently working on improving the functionality but it’s unlikely that it will ever be available outside of eClaims. If you interested in pursuing it, just let me know. It still requires some manual intervention but it’s better than manually entering everything. I think you will see that the ROI is worth it.

    Thanks for the feedback. It does looks like you can set up your account to get notifications when people leave comments on your suggestions or when the status changes. But not when your suggestion gets a vote. That seems like it's just a limitation with the system.

    We appreciate your participation with MyVoice and we hope to make it useful. We keep trying to make sure that responses are coming quicker so it's more of a conversation.

    Thank you for the feedback. I agree. I feel like MyVoice seems to be lacking the interaction between the Dentrix Enterprise team and the users. Since I've been in this role, I've been trying to make comments on requests and respond to concerns but it seems like when I do, I never hear back from the person that I've been responding to. That's why I was wondering if you get notified when someone posts on the thread after you have or comments on your original post. Since I'm still fairly new to the role, I'm trying to understand this as tool and how it can work.

    There is a user group who is beta testing a virtual user forum that might be better for engagement. It's at dxeusergroup.com. Maybe that forum will be a better way to improve the conversation?

    The way that the system was designed is to have several procedures tied to one treatment plan and then users can mark the treatment plan as "rejected" (instead of "declined.) This should solve your problem! Does that make sense?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the enhancement suggestion. We will add this to the backlog and evaluate the feasibility of adding this directly to the software. In the meantime, I would encourage you to take a look at OMS 3 (https://oms3.com/) who has created integration with Dentrix Enterprise to generate reports. While there is an additional cost for this service, we have had several customers that are using it and have been pleased with the reports they are able to see.

    Please let us know if you decide to go that route and we will close this enhancement request.
