  1. Chart numbers in reports vs. names option

    All reports should have the option to list the chart number vs. the patients actual name. Using the scheduled jobs and emailing reports to individuals creates risk in HIPPA compliance. We currently cannot use the scheduled job function until this is fixed/changed.

    • UDS Reporting

      Would like to see some additional UDS reporting options. To be able to run the report as how the actual table requires. Not have to work around multiple reports for most of the UDS tables.

      • add the chart # on all Reports

        This would add only one small column to each report with details to include the patients chart#

        • Credit Card Payment information on Statement

          When we print our statements, we check the Credit Card Payment Information Box so that patients can send us their CC information. We need a box for the CSV number that is on the back of the CC. We have gone to a different CC processor and they are requiring this #. Thanks

            It looks like we’ve had several individuals request this feature. However, there are still quite a few features that are higher priorities on MyVoice. We still need more supporters to bump this up on the list.

            Need more flexibility in the reporting.
            1) ability to add filters in the analysis/patient list by AND and not just OR
            2) ability to exclude archived/inactive patients from the analysis/patients list
            3) ability to export from the analysis/patient list
            4) open reporting where any information can be pulled into a excel document. i.e. All the CCs for all the patients at Clinic A & B.

              • Do not show inactive employees in the DXOne reports

                When setting security in the DXOne Reports it would be convenient if Provider/Staff who appear are only active employees.

                Furthermore, it would be convenient if when you choose a particular clinic, only Provider/Staff associated with that clinic appeared under the Provider/Staff list.

                Currently we have 9 offices with 260 active staff members and it is difficult enough identifying the active staff, let alone having to scroll through all our inactive staff. I can see that once we have been on this system for 5+ years, the majority of the Provider/Staff list will be inactive employees as the list continually evolves…

                • Allow DXONE report manager to launch and run as service account

                  Currently, dxonereportman.exe has to be launched from a logged in account and with an enterprise user logged in. Requesting to have this configured with option to be launched as a service so a local user is not required to be logged on and the manager runs 24/7. We are operating in strictly a terminal server environment with idle session timeouts. We would have to login several times a day to keep this application running.

                  • FQHC claims require POS code 50; only option is "other" which requires manual updates; needs added global settings.

                    Place of Service code 50 required for FQHC claims and not offered as an option on global settings (office, ECF, Hospital or Other only options). Any CMS established POS code should be available in global settings. POS code should ideally be linked to specific practice location.

                      As everyones paperless is going to increase should be a way to archive old after a certain date or compress the folder to cut down on size

                      • Report Templates

                        Add the ability to create multiple user defined templates for individual reports in DX1. Currently, you can set 1 default per user,per report. I often run the same report (e.g. Production Summary) multiple times with different settings and it takes time to repeatedly select different groups of providers, codes, etc.

                        • Create functionality to export data to Excel and CSV

                          No exports to excel or csv exist in the product. We would like to do Quality Improvement work and export data directly from Dentrix (and not have to use ODBC/SQL) . We'd like to export data such as patient id, birthdate, procedure code, procedure date, provider, & location. All other EDRs we've worked with have this functionality but Dentrix does not. Report formats provided in Dentrix are not usable/friendly for processing into other systems and are not inclusive of data fields we need.

                            Thanks for the suggestion. There are a few things you can do now in order to get the reports that you need. First, you could hire a SQL professional and get access to the database dictionary in order to create these reports and export them in a format that would be useful for you. One of the benefits of Dentrix Enterprise is that it gives you the ability to access the database directly. Second, you could work with a group like OMS 3 to provide some reports to you. You can learn more about them by googling them. We are working on a formal relationship with them. Third, you could contact our professional services team through your customer success manager to get a customized report designed for you.

                                • Provide a web API, allowing for external development of solutions.

                                  It would be nice if there were an API, possibly web based, that allowed externally developed applications perform otherwise complex operations against the database ( like posting a payment ). Like many offices, we often find that Dentrix doesn't quite fit our workflow; the addition of an API would allow us to build these solutions for ourselves ( or hire an outside developer to do so ). Of course, with the versatility of the web, a web-accessible API makes the most sense.

                                    I would like the ability to select certain entries to print from the Office Journal. Also, on the print-outs, I would like there to be a second patient identifier (i.e. DOB, Chart #, etc). We have many patients with the same names.

                                      It would be nice if there were a selection box in the production summary report to locate procedure codes that are flagged as "Do Not Bill Dental Insurance". There doesn't seem to be any report that allows for locating visits that may have that box checked in the Edit or Delete Procedure box. This would allow locating those possible missed visits quickly.

                                        • Refund Statements sent by previous employee

                                          Currently there is no tracking method for knowing when and if a previous employee has sent out statements to patients stating a refund is available when there was not. In our case, an employee who was told it would be their last day maliciously went onto several patient's ledgers, posted credits and sent statements to patients claiming to collect an over payment by an insurance company. Currently there is no safe guard or report to know how extensive the damage was done but we have somewhere close to 20 patients calling to inquire about a refund.
