  1. For Mass C-CDA, be able to select multiple patients

    We would like to select multiple patients at a time to export. For example, would it be possible to use the Appointment search function and Shift-select multiple patients from today?

  2. Lock fields that are connected by HL7

    If information is sent across an HL7 into Dentrix, those fields should be locked from modification so that changes cannot be made, only to be overwritten again. Please create a way to lock fields such as patient name, address, demographic data, etc.

  4. The fee should automatically update when you change the procedure code for a treatment planned procedure.

    Example: Let's say that the patient is scheduled to have #3 MO/R done, however, treatment changes to #3 MOD/R. The way it works now is you have to delete the #3 MO/R on the treatment plan and then re-treatment plan the #3 MOD/R and then add it to the appointment to set complete (or set complete from the patient chart). You have to do it this way because the fee will not update.

  5. Redesign Global Alerts

    Currently we are using version 8.0.5 with 13 Global alerts in our current database. There is a delay when opening charts Dentrix has told us because it has to query the patient for all 13 global alerts. The delay is now approximately 30 - 40 seconds. Dentrix also indicated it is a known complication. Please consider a redesign on how the database is querying this new extremely helpful feature where such a delay is not seen.

  6. Add DXONE Report Description and contents to the DXONE Reporting module

    When you Select a Report Category within DXONE Reporting Module > Highlight the report you wish to run > there should be a question mark/info button at the end of the report title that you can hover over or click on that will provide the user with the report details and contents. Perhaps link back to the report reference or the integrated help file.

  8. Lab Case Here Box in Appt

    PLEASE bring back the Lab box in appointment. I quess the newer versions of Dentrix no longer have that availability. That was such a great feature because when ever a Lab Case came in we would check that box and it would show a L on the appt that everyone could see by glancing at the schedule and it let front office, back office, and Dr know that that Patients Lab Case was here and eliminated the time we all took to go search for case or ask different dept's if case had made it here before the patients appt…

  9. We need a Billing Statements Default similar to "Claim Providers Default" under "Practice Defaults

    We want to be able to customize Billing Statements per location from a central area. We do not want to log into different clinics to run Billing Statements and we want the ability to run Billing Statements by Provider per location.

  10. Office Journal

    I would like the ability to select certain entries to print from the Office Journal. Also, on the print-outs, I would like there to be a second patient identifier (i.e. DOB, Chart #, etc). We have many patients with the same names.

    A module that allows patients to schedule their appointments online. Many applications are moving to this type of technology, it would be great to have this option for our patients

  14. backdating conditions (diagnoses)

    Should not be allowed to backdate conditions. Conditions are used to document diagnoses. It is a legal issue that staff can retroactively enter diagnoses to make it look as if they didn't misdiagnose previously. Dentrix does not appear to have an easy way of tracking when conditions are actually entered.

  15. Add a customizable feature to the appt book that alerts team members when patients have excessive wait times after being marked "ready".

    It would be great to have a setting in the appt book that indicated when a patient had been waiting for an extended period of time. Practices could customize the alert. Once the status of the appt turns to "READY", the timer would start and the appt would flash or shake to let the team know that this pt has been waiting too long. Something similar to a "ring back" feature on the phone system when a phone call has been placed on hold for too long.

  16. Insurance phone numbers

    Insurance companies no longer have one phone number to call for everything. Could you please look at the design and include a place for, eligibility, claims, billing. I request claims because I am find many ins. co. now have a representative that can follow up on a claim. Billing is now seems to handle e-claims, insurance set up for e-processing, credentialing.

  17. Referral By - Reason for referral

    Provide the ability to capture reason for referral on an incoming Referred by and allow it to drop into Clinical Notes if choose and the ability to View/Edit the note. As if it was a Referred To referral.

  18. Create Separate Ledger Colors for Hygiene Procedures vs. Restorative Procedures

    It would be nice to have different ledger colors for hygiene services vs. all other procedures completed. That way, you could very easily identify when a patient was last in for hygiene from the ledger. I realize that you can sort by columns, but having it a different color would be quick and easy. Could there be a setting within the procedure code set-up that would override the default ledger settings for procedure colors. For example, maybe you set your procedures colors in the ledger to black. Then if you wanted to change D1110 to purple, you would change that…

  19. Update 835 from 4010A1 5010

    Please update 835 from 4010 to 5010. I don't understand why this hasn't been done yet. Currently you can't use 835 with eServices for Dentrix Enterprise but you can for Dentrix Core. Unless we contract with a third party to convert the forms/ inject the data directly into the SQL Database, the 835 function is broken in DTXE V8.X

    To enable high contrast mode for all aspects of Dentrix Enterprise, we have an end user who can navigate most of the Dentrix Enterprise application; however the Patient Search window is not supported by High Contrast mode. This window is completely whited out except for the columns and input fields.
