  2. Hide ICD-9 codes

    We have users, who from time to time still select ICD-9 codes in the system which creates more work for our biller, as we export charges via HL7 to Allscripts PM. It would be nice if we could "hide" the old ICD-9 codes from the users. This is an option in other software that we use.

  4. A popup to let you know you have scheduled a recall too soon.

    Sometimes a recall appointment is scheduled to soon, before the 6 mo. and 1 day frequency by accident. If a popup alert appeared to make the scheduler aware they are scheduling the patient too soon would be great. The popup could say that this "appointment is being scheduled prior to their next recall date, do you want to continue?"

  5. Ability to select Multiple Carriers when posting a batch Insurance payment

    Having the ability to select multiple carriers when posting a batch Insurance payment would greatly speed up posting payments. At this time we can either select one patent by name or one Insurance carrier. Often times we get a check vouchers with over 100 claims on it. These vouchers contain multiple group #'s (which do not always print on the EOB) so we forced to select each patient when we want to post a payment. I ask that you please Mirror Dentrex Core to help us with this issue.

  6. Inactivating Providers & Staff - Please remove them from the "Security Rights" page so they are not mixed in with the current providers.

    When inactivating staff and providers, we have to place "zzz" in front of their USER ID's to indicate they are not active and assigning "Security Rights" becomes tedious as well as removing them from the Appointment Book Views. We have the University Edition and the Residents change every year.

  7. Family File Patient Notes

    When the Family file screen is opened, any notes in the Patient Notes section don't show until the View button is clicked. Is there a default that can be changed so that the notes always show unless the Hide button is clicked? Many important notes are not seen unless someone takes the extra step to look to see if there’s anything there.

  8. Create a report to track changes to Clinical Notes before they are signed/locked

    Our providers don't always immediately sign off on clinical notes. This allows for another user to go in an modify the clinical note information before the provider is able to sign off. I contacted support and confirmed that this is not a table that is logged in the system. I also spoke with a programmer who provided a quote for a custom report, however, the report will only show the initial operator who created the note and the last person to modify the note, nothing in between. I think this would be a valuable report for compliance reasons.

  9. billed 2ndary claims on UB04 electronic

    We are a FQHC clinic in California and need to be able to bill 2ndary claims on UB04's electronic to the state. Currently, software is unable to do this. Our revenue is delayed because of this issue. There needs to be a workaround or convert the 2ndary ins to primary in the background inorder to get this claims paid, besides dropping to paper and mailing. If there are any California FQHC's that have Dentrix, and would like to be able to bill out your 2ndary claims electronic through Dentrix, please vote on this enhancement.

  10. Add an exclude $0 balance claims from Secondary Claims Not Created report

    Currently the report needlessly pulls many claims that don't need a secondary claim to be filed, because the primary payment/adjustment resulted in a $0 balance. Those claims on the report still need to be reviewed. Report parameters should include a check box with for Exclude.

  11. Create raw data report

    Dentrix Enterprise does not have a good no-show report. It's very difficult to drill down on trends in no-shows (i.e. how long ago they're scheduled, what type of appointments, whether or not they were confirmed, when they were confirmed).

    By creating a raw data report for no-show that can include names, dob, ID, appt type, date scheduled, status history, etc. practices can analyze the data, identify trends, and plan accordingly.

  12. Remove continuing care from no-show appointments.

    When you enable the automatic continuing care feature (which is great) for newly scheduled patterns, it puts the current date in the "continuing care" field. When they complete the appointment, that field is updated to reflect the appropriate due-date. However, if the patient no-shows the field remains populated with the date on which you made the initial appointment.

  13. Take out the "pager" field and add "cell phone" field to patient questionaire, or be able to customize the form

    the patient questionaire still has "pager" listed on the form. Need updated to "cell" or be able to customize the form for our particular needs. Need a signature and date added to the bottom.

  15. FQHC claims require POS code 50; only option is "other" which requires manual updates; needs added global settings.

    Place of Service code 50 required for FQHC claims and not offered as an option on global settings (office, ECF, Hospital or Other only options). Any CMS established POS code should be available in global settings. POS code should ideally be linked to specific practice location.

  16. Naming E-Central 835 files

    Naming the 835 Files for easier downloads.
    It would be very helpful to have the insurance company named or more identifying informationm or at the very least a check box or highlight which file you're on. It is very easy to lose your place when opening up each and everyone to find the file that you're looking for.

  17. Colors for Open claims vs. Closed claims.

    It would be much easier visually to see open claims if they were a different color, and when they were paid, it could turn black. For example, all procedures that have not been paid by insurance would be in blue on the ledger, and once paid turn black.

    I would like a full medical history integrated within the site so it can be updated and maintained without having to scan in and keep a paper medical history.

  19. Allow a user to open appointment but not extend/delete/move the appointment

    The Issue we keep having is we need our assistants to be able to open the appointment and edit some of the fields like changing the status, but not be able to edit the appointment itself like extending or moving the appointment. All of this falls under the 'Edit Appointment' appointment. This is a blanket permission. It definitely needs to be more granular.
